Karen established The Body Clinic in 1985 after qualifying from The Yorkshire College of Beauty Therapy in Leeds, winning an award for the most promising Beauty Therapist of the year presented by Yorkshire Television.
Initially operating as a mobile therapist in Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford, and Leeds.
In 1986 Karen moved into the first premises in Pontefract. The salon has been in various locations over the years until 2011 when Karen purchased the property on 12 Love Lane, Pontefract, and renovated it into the beauty salon that it is today. The salon offers many treatments from Facials, Massage, Derma-planning, Micro-needling, Hot Stone, and much more!
The Body Clinic has other fully qualified members who attend the salon on various days, Leanne (Qualified Nurse) offers a variety of Aesthetic treatments inclusive of Dermal Fillers and Muscle Relaxants, Plasma Pen, Profilo ETC
